Wired reports that Peter Thiel, well-known VC, along with a host of others, are planning a watery utopia through their brand new Seasteading Institute:

Tired of the United States and the other 190-odd nations on Earth? If a small team of Silicon Valley millionaires get their way, in a few years, you could have a new option for global citizenship: A permanent, quasi-sovereign nation floating in international waters.

No word yet on whether or not citizenship will include special powers, small demon children, a free drill hand, or 10 hours of the most atmospheric and creepy gameplay ever to make its way to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
